血液検査

While getting a physical check up, my son was told that his blood test showed abnormal results and that he needed to have another blood test.
息子が、健康診断で、血液の数値に異常があるという結果が出ました。再検査をするように言われました。
むすこが　けんこうしんだんで　けつえきのすうちに　いじょうがあるというけっかがでました。さいけんさをするようにいわれました。

My daughter tends to have slight dizziness. She is rather anemic.
娘は、ふだんから軽いめまいなどがして、貧血気味なんです。
むすめは、ふだんから　かるいめまいなどがして、ひんけつぎみなんです。

I have never undergone major surgery requiring blood transfusion or been told of any blood abnormality.
私は、今まで、輸血するような大きな手術をしたことはありません。これまで血液の異常を指摘されたこともありません。
わたしは　いままで　ゆけつするような　おおきなしゅじゅつを　したことはありません。これまで　けつえきのいじょうを　してきされたこともありません。

Is there any possiblity that I have some incurable blood disease?
まさか、血液の難病ではないでしょうね。

尿の検査の数値に、潜血がみられるということです。
にょうのけんさのすうちに、せんけつがみられるということです。

A conversation between a patient and a doctor about a (physical) check up
Patient:
My son, a university student, took a physical check up for a job application and was told that his blood and urine tests showed values higher than normal. Are there wide ranges in these values due to individual differences? Should he repeat the tests?

大学生の息子が就職を前にして健康診断を受けたところ、血液と尿検査の数値が平常値よりも高めだという検査報告がありました。このような数値というものは、個人差によって平常値に幅があるものでしょうか？　再検査はした方が良いですか？

Doctor:
There are many kinds of blood and urine tests, and items of tests are determined according to diseases. Tests performed in a physical check up are called general or routine tests. Hasn’t your son been told to consult his private physician concerning abnormal values? Your son also can go to student health clinic in the university. It is possible that repeat tests will turn out normal. In any case, the abnormal results should be pursued until they are resolved. Don’t neglect them.

血液と尿の検査の種類は、まことに多岐にわたり、各疾患によって検査の項目が決められますが、健康診断ということでしたら一般検査と普通に呼ばれるものだと思います。息子さんの場合は、異常値と指摘された際、かかりつけの医師に相談するようにとの指示はありませんでしたか？　或いは、大学内の診療所にいらっしゃることもできます。再検査では正常ということも勿論あります。いずれにしても放置せず、納得の行くまで説明を受けられることをおすすめします。
